Handsome and w ell-loved Barbour waxed-cotton jacket with plenty of life yet to give. Classic “sage green, ” with beautiful brown corduroy collar and iconic tartan plaid lining. Men’s size 44. Original tag and care manual included. Neck clasp for inclement weather. Double zip front with lovely brass zippers. Two front slash pockets as well as two generously-sized cargo pockets. Discreet inside pocket. Special “game pocket” built into the back (for stuffing a pheasant or two). Raglan shoulders for ease of movement. Air vents in underarms. 32.5 inches from top of collar to bottom hem. 25.5 inches from underarm to underarm. 18.5 inches from underarm to end of sleeve. 20 inches from shoulder to shoulder (approximate due to raglan sleeves). The piece is in great condition except for some staining and tears/fraying on the bottom of the inside lining (see photos). They don’t affect the wearing of the jacket, aren’t visible while you’re wearing it, and arguably only add to the patina. Perfect to wear while mucking the stables at your Scottish country estate, tending your wild English garden, or just running down the street in misty weather to grab some milk and eggs at the bodega.
